1 · The tool
What it is, and who it is for
A streamer leaderboard can mean several things: who is live this minute, who averaged most over a month, or who has the most followers. The labs.llc Streamers desk ranks Twitch's biggest channels two ways: a keyless table of the hundred most watched over thirty days, and, where the server holds a Twitch credential, the top five hundred live this minute with the biggest movers. For the top hundred it also looks for the same person on YouTube and Kick.
It is for viewers, marketers and people who follow the streaming business.
2 · The workings
How it works
Two relays on the labs.llc server. wire.php needs no credential: it reads TwitchTracker's public ranking pages, caches them for an hour, and serves a stored check of social accounts. relay.php holds the Twitch client credentials and a YouTube key on the server, away from the page: it pages Twitch's Get Streams API five times for the live top 500, files the top 200 as snapshots kept for 14 days, and works out movers by comparing snapshots. The page draws everything in the browser.

Where the work happens: Two server relayswire.php for the keyless ranking; relay.php keeps the credentials and the snapshot store.

What we ran, and what came back
Run against a local copy of labs.llc build 537, byte-identical to the live site. Times are UTC.

01The 30-day ranking
100 rows read from TwitchTracker, each labelled “30 days — an average, not a live count”.
Evidence: wire.php top100; test at 19:57:47 UTCTwitchTracker ranks by average viewers, followers, views and stream time over 30 days, with columns for hours watched and followers gained, and filters for 40+ languages. Caedrel was first there too.
The source is the better table: more rows, more columns, language filters.
02Who is live right now
With a credential, Twitch's own API gives the live top 500 and movers from the desk's snapshots. On our copy: HTTP 501 and no snapshots.

SullyGnome lists the fastest-growing channels.
We could not see the labs.llc live half work, so the comparators take this row.
03History and time windows
A 30-day average and, when live, 14 days of its own snapshots.
Evidence: relay.php lines 262-269SullyGnome offers windows of 3, 7, 14, 30, 90, 180 and 365 days and all time, monthly back to January 2016, and game statistics.
For the long view, SullyGnome is far deeper.
04The same person on other platforms
Publishes a YouTube link only when the channel carries YouTube's verification badge; handle matches alone are withheld and counted. One example in the code: youtube.com/@xQc is a channel called “Flasher CS2” with 53 subscribers.

labs.llc checked 100 people across three platforms and refused 20 look-alike handles; on the pages we read, the comparators keep to Twitch.
05Saying what a number is
Every figure carries its window and platform, and the page explains why it will not rank YouTube as live: the Data API publishes no live-viewer ranking.
Evidence: relay.php lines 27-31; index.html method sectionTwitchTracker states its window on the ranking: “for the last 30 days”.
Both label their windows; labs.llc also names what it refuses to show and why.
5 · The shortcomings
Where it falls short
- Without a Twitch credential on the server the live ranking, movers and momentum are empty, as they were on our copy.
- The keyless table shows less than its own source: 100 rows, no language filter, no games or clips.
- The social check was sixteen days old at test time.
- The page contradicts itself: its method text says Kick is not included, while the social table reports Kick followers.
6 · The verdict
