    Forty-seven properties in the register, fourteen of them fed by live data,
    all owned outright.

    Type is DM Sans, self-hosted, variable across both axes — four weights for
    94 KB rather than twelve faces. The design system is five decisions: one
    ink (#1E262B, never pure black), paper, one colder dark, a 10% hairline,
    and a 1265px measure. The load-bearing rule is an inversion — display
    sizes run light and tightly tracked, small text runs heavy and positively
    tracked. That is what makes a large heading read as calm rather than loud.

    The hero field and the insight thumbnails are drawn to canvas rather than
    photographed. Everything animated stops when it leaves the viewport or the
    tab goes to the background, and everything animated is behind
    prefers-reduced-motion.
